I live in northern Canada (so I understand there are legal differences from our neighbours to the south) and would like to start a real estate investing corporation with a few coworkers.We would be a group of about 5-7 individuals investing in Canada with options to spread into the States if things go well.What I would like advice on is what kind of verbiage to include in our contractual agreement (bylaws, unanimous shareholder agreement, etc.).

Not really sure where to start but we just sold our house so I have some capital to get started, just want to make sure I make sound choices when starting so I decided to join BP as a resource to make connections and maybe even find my first deal.

They can either come into our Office, we can send a mobile Notary to a location of their choice or they can print the Deed and return it to us signed overnight.

I know I wouldn't want to rent to those individuals.

If you made a decision that doesn't match your qualifications, admit your mistake and make a better choice next time. 

@Ashish Acharya I didnt know any better and always created a new llc for new purchases; I assumed these 3 family homes would have more individual protection in th event of any lawsuits.

Yet, when your in a different State and trying to sell your home, and you must rely on the contract that you have made with a Realtor you have spoken to on the phone and a home inspector, your choices seem limited.

I asked the chimney contractor for his license # which he gave me  After the work was complete, and closing docs have been signed the buyers agent informs us that the the chimney contract license was a business license not a contractors license and that we now need to pay $5,000 to have the contractor of the buyers choice do the repairs.
