Are there any other options anyone has used that might offer a higher return while protecting the principal value (ie: not stocks)

@Katie Panzica be careful with borrowing against stocks.

The good thing is, unlike the stock market real estate is local, and there is no national exchange.

I’ve been mainly focused on investing in stocks – mostly a Boglehead with a few stock picks here and there😊.

I can't find the right deal locally to cash flow or get a decent return on my investment that beats what I'm getting in the stock market, though I really want a property. 

We found we could make more money in this investment than in the stock market.

They are: read 10% of a book per day, workout 5 times a week, wake up at 6am each day, look at two deals per day, do not eat out (bad habit lol), put $10 a day away into stocks, listen to 20 minutes of a podcast, post on BP Forums 4 times a week, post on social media 4 times per week, and on average do 30 dials/texts per day to wholesale leads.

@Mike Reynolds btw I completely forgot, Musk gives stock options to all Tesla employees even production associates....so its not just 50K -:)..folks made a killing on Tesla stock last year and Long timers made more..

Yes, i believe any retirement accounts or stocks would qualify for reserves.
