Does anyone have any referrals for structural engineers and/or foundation repair companies?

Interest expense before you even sell a lotDevelopment costs roads, sewer, water, electric, landscaping, signage,  engineering costs, etcZoning and approval process take a while.

Back in 2014 I was burned out at my engineering job and wanted a change.

I'd rather lock in profits at 18-25% ROI in 4-5 weeks than take something more complex that requires permitting or engineering approval that may lengthen the project to 8-12 weeks for a higher return.

If it were me, I'd get a really good understanding of what the true cost and time involved with making those basement repairs, an if its me I'm getting the drawings for the repairs from a structure engineer with the stamp on them and that is going in the building file for sale and appraisal later.  

Separately, I also scheduled a structural inspection from a company (Crosstown Engineering) to get another perspective about the current foundation status. 

It’s our job to “engineer out” as many of those challenges as possible to be sure that we’re one of those buyers standing when it’s time to roll out.What kind of challenges?

I am a senior in college, soon to graduate, get married, and move somewhere in the U.S. as an entry-level civil engineer.

I would get it repaired BY A LICENSED CONTRACTOR and have them include an Engineer's report as part of the deal.
