The air will need to have a back pressure to push itself into the higher parts of the house, and they wont get that pressure if the lower vents just let all the air go.

So far I have identified TD Bank, Santander (but they have a $250k cap) and Penfed (but they wont offer HELOCs in first lien or if you own more than 4 units).

Title is not guaranteed on many properties and the condition isn't known by them so arguing the home is destroyed isn't a great argument because they aren't concerned.In the end, you can pick up good deals if you know your stuff, but it takes time and effort.
