I've been doing major looking at Columbus and Clevenland Ohio, flew to Columbus a few months ago, recently found what I thought was some money-makers, but the numbers never pan out. i find that that even though the prices per unit are often around $50,000 and in Califrornia the price per unit is more than  $300,000 you will find that the profits in California are superior compared to Ohio.

Removing any items that make the property look dated like green toilets, blue sinks, pink tubs can help, updating all the light fixtures, removing old carpet to expose hardwood floors, removing wall paper and painting can all help with an appraisal.

.- Cleaning fee kept by PM has about $20-40 profit depending on unit size and this profit covers all consumables for our starter packs (toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, etc) so the guest foots the bill not the owner.- Pet fees kept by PM that funds our damage waiver program.
