@Tom Gimer  I bought a property over in Washington state.. and some how the owner said the lender contacted him after he had not paid for a very long time 5 to 7 years.. and said we are just deeding you the property.. we lost our right.. now I had never heard of that before or after.I bought it I got title insurance.. and sure enough somehow this happened..

The association lost because based on Indiana Law (which trumps associations and HOA) said that the rule restricted the owners legal right to use the property as he saw fit and that our association rule was illegal.

If you went to a college in an area that is great for investing, build relationships with potential key team members, and move after college, you still have those relationships to help you with your investing while you're living in another state.Now if your goal is to be a real estate investor, we could have another conversation on if college is necessary for that career.
