Investing in Wichita

(This applies for Wichita - cant speak for other markets) You can find houses that are pretty darn nice in great areas for much less than you'll pay to build if you're willing to have some give and take.Top schools - Maize, Goddard, Andover - Northwest isnt a bad district for public, Northeast/Heights by Bel Aire, NE part of town have decent reputations as far as public as well as East (inner core)You might check into the guy I had mentioned that is building duplexes - Think I had given you the info in another post or a PM - thats about the only new construction I could see paying off as a rental now and down the road.
