There's also a nice size garage on the property that I would be using for my vehicles I store, if I cleared it out at some point, that could be rented as well, possibly could look into a separate meter, garage has its own driveway its separate from the home.

So we started small simply by buying our next home and keeping our first one and renting it out.We are fortunate that I have a background in property maintenance and my wife has a business background so we are able to manage the property ourselves with a good attorney in the beginning to make sure our lease was good and we used a tenant screening service, sure we made a few small mistakes here and there but we fixed them and stayed the course.

It has a small 2nd structure on the property that used to be a 2nd garage that someone finished off and now is living area ( am not sure the exact size but I am looking into it.

So yeah when I can I live in Mid Town Manhattan for 10K per year versus taking on a mortgage in the same area for a comparable sized condo or co-op for 750K, which equates to $3100 Plus maintenance of at least another $1000 then I am much better off with a 10K a year lease.

Could there be an issue of the shear lot size to where it couldn't be built on anymore or for a mobile to be placed on it dude to law changes?

I'm new to the Lease Option Assignment game; I understand that due to Dodd Frank, it's important to screen your potential tenant buyers so as not to get them into a lease option that they realistically can never actually purchase.
