interested in deal, have some road blocks
I am pretty new to real estate and ran into a potential deal today. A house that was built in 1998 in my area is a 2 story 3 bedroom 2 bath. The home is in town and is about 1/4 acre. It has a small 2nd structure on the property that used to be a 2nd garage that someone finished off and now is living area ( am not sure the exact size but I am looking into it. The owner talked to the city and the parcel is not big enough to split these 2 homes into 2 separate parcels. Is there any potential way I could buy it and rent them both out? I assume I could not that if there is only 1 parcel and 1 street address? Thank you for the feedback!
