Worked with my mentor's real estate agent.

I have had 50% of people that say I should right now the other half say I should wait until everything goes through to see what happens .My original goal was to stacks much money as possible and wait until I got a chunk of change maybe 10-20k then go to a friend of mine who is a real estate agent and try to do a flip with him and see if he will mentor me.

I might even use these as sort of a skip level, town hall like session.

I, myself am big on mentors.

I was wondering if someone could possible help mentor me or show me the ropes on what to look for while trying to buy properties?

Would there happen to be any of you in the Charlotte area that can sit with me and mentor me?

Like I mentioned, my short term goal is to learn as much about real estate investing as I can right now, and hopefully I can start networking and find a couple of mentors along the way. 

I believe my KW mentor from about 7 years ago is a KW agent out of that office.

You also get paired with a mentor until you close 3 sales so that helps you to not feel lost as well.

Maybe this is more a vent session but being a new investor I'm shocked that Pro Formas are as misleading as they are.I'm dealing with sellers who are selling to investors but their Pro Formas are written as if they were selling to consumers.
