Not being able to afford a farm/homestead and the full risk of running an operation of my own yet I am looking to offset the cost/risk with rentals, preferably long term and possibly short term.The idea began with a Mobile Home Park that a portion could be a market garden and possible small scale livestock.

If you do a search you will find that they are very similar to these custom built homes at a far, far lower price, comparable sizes, equal quality and readily available through many manufactured home builders.

Totally understand your point and the logic behind it, but I don't see the financial gain, or the longevity in our disposable manufacturing environment we currently live in. $150 for the furnace seems like a great deal until it's broken down.

Have them check prior to quoting how many layers of shingles there are so there won't be any surprise dump fees.If they offer a warranty, determine if its just the manufacturer warranty or their own and be sure labor is included.
