I have a very simplistic understanding of stocks to buy low and sell high, would like to know more about P/E, dividends, etc. that make a worthwhile purchase. 

I am in a fairly hot rental market, @Michael Lewis Lee, a lot of the things you list as important fall into the category of “if I’m buying a house I’m going to live in” or flip a house.  

@Jaye CrockettI think many agents (speaking as one) come across as if they only want business once it’s time to list a property.

I require them to e-mail me proof of insurance with my LLC listed before they get keys.

However, if the subject looks like 5 individual units (ie. 5 doors: Unit A,B,C,D,E), the appraiser will make note on the inspection.

We've put the property on Zillow, the news paper, Craig's list, a for rent sign and are now putting up fliers without the address for people to call to see it.
