I'm a newbie (senior in high school) but I know the day I turn 18 real estate is my path to wealth and financial freedom.

My job is fully virtual, so I can live anywhere in the country but I will not get a COL increase.

If you want to do it up as an agent, bigger brokerages will work for you and train you better, but NYC is one of the toughest places to be an agent in the country.

If your focus is real estate there are lots of good tax professionals here who specialize in REI nad work with clients all over the country.
