In case you missed the news, Realtor.com has just released it's predictions of the Top Real Estate Markets in 2017.

I don not know how many of you are aware of the historic vote in Italy today Sunday 4th (see news & Twitter).The Italian referendum to vote "No" has already started to affect news of stock markets becoming volatile.

I see that its all based on the American market, I was wondering if there was anyone in here who has experience with European markets (mainly South of France)? 

@Eric Brandenburg all jokes aside, the good news for you is, if you can afford to kick out 1800 a pop for rent, you can potentially have a LOT of affordability options and pick of 'Cuse neighborhoods. 

Good news is for investors that  rents have shot up so ridiculously high (I couldn't even imagine paying $3,800 for under 500sf in addition to something like $350 a month for each parking space like a friend of mine does in an apartment Downtown), that as long as rent stays that high, it should more than cover a monthly mortgage payment and taxes.

I am also a California resident and, as it is, we are probably in the most European-like state for social programs and such.
