So now we (TNPS = my brother and I) own 15 units in MS, OH, and IN that are all buy and hold rentals. 

Hey brother I too am in a similar situation as yours, but let me start by saying I have only been studying REI for 3 years and saving, and have not bought my first true REI property yet (though I plan to in the next few months).

If I had to make an analogy of  a city, we are Atlanta teenage brother. 

My brother in law just bought a house from a private party, he plans of flipping the house.

My brother @David Saur and new investors in the Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio (Cleveland, Youngstown and Akron areas) markets. 

Of course, if the Koch brothers would consider some kind of financial help, that would be great.

We could look into a month-by-month lease option but we don't think our current complex would allow us to do that.Third question:  My brother wants to be included in the deal if we purchase the duplex units or a multi-family property, and even though I trust him, my fiancee isn't 100% on board.  

My dream is to someday become financially free, and escape the rat race I am sure all of you are aware so many are trapped in.  

I've never bought real estate, but currently own a single family with my brothers through an inheritance.

My brother in law is a contractor so maybe I can talk to him and see if he wants to do a deal with me.
