If they are a crime victim they should also go to their local police department's financial crimes unit, contact financial crimes where the fraud is based and call or go into their local FBI office and ask to speak to the duty agent.

My "higher quality" properties, meaning SFH or multi-unit with high income tenants, low vacancy rates and low crime in the Bay Area and Indianapolis metro area appreciate more than my lower priced homes in Indy.

Best thing to do, in my opinion, is to do some research:1 - Figure out what your end goal is and how you plan to get there2- What niche you want to invest in (single-family, small multi-family 2-4 units, large multi-family).
