Sorry if I sound like a nut...desperate times call for desperate measures...just sent Ocwen a mort-mod package but I will be amazed if the endeavour is fruitful...We make $150K/combined but FRUGAL living (never had honeymoon or vacation) plus medical, stud-loans & the $3700/mo payment is still too-tight.

Fresh from my FB seminar (Sunday March 3rd), my wife and I are excited and doing tons of research on which fork to travel down at the REI split.

Wave Accounting - as near as I can tell this is a true accounting software package similar to Quick Books but it is FREE.  

Now it's true that the travel cost will be higher but there are ways around that.The reason I say this is, I know there are other parts of the US with much stronger economic growth than the mid-Atlantic, and those will be better places for investment.You didn't say what you plan to do with your properties but that would be really helpful to know.

I sat through the rest of his speech, as he did intertwine a useful bit of information here and there, but that was usually followed by his "$2,400 PACKAGE OF MATERIALS THAT HE WAS SELLING FOR ONLY $499"!

(Actually I could have done it, but it would have taken away from my other more PROFITABLE ventures) So now I am here to get some opinions from people about what is already available.Currently I am considering buying a package called LandlordMax.

Or find a software package that does the rent collection, notifications, invoicing, maintenance requests, AND credit checks online for you!!!

It's a package deal for the two units for 65K.

The problem with anti-virus software packages like Norton and McAfee is they are worse than actual viruses.And, McAfee has/was always considered lower quality than Norton.
