So what is the legal amount of time that the tenants get to stay in the house when they are given a notice?

So the landlord let him stay for 4 months without paying, he then moved out without damaging anything.

We got lucky and stayed dry.

When seeking funding I was instructed to stay away from anyone requesting upfront fees for processing and or origination fees.
