Pre-forclosure listing preferences?

The "talk to neighbors" suggestion is probably great in most situations, except one in which one of the main objectives is not to have any :-) Anyway, what I wanted to find out was whether there is any way to research such a property that is dramatically easier or more productive than what I have been trying so far, and my interpretation of your answers is that there is not.

There is no such thing as "no risk" so stating that the sub3 proces reomoves all risk is just BS, but you do have no managerial responsibilities and with the proper CYA disclosure docs, you can dramatically reduce your risk.Now I figure since I let the cat out of the bag, we should be receiveing responses taht I am way off and that sub3 has some "secret" methods to it that nobody will share here or anywhere else unless you buy David's course.

If you have to replace a wall, for instance, using jacks to prop up the side of the building when the wall is removed can cause cracks throughout the drywall/structure on that entire side because the property can dramatically shift.If you really like the property and you feel it is a good deal, use the foundation issue as a bargaining point so you may be able to get a discount.
