Has anybody used a Hard Money Lender near the southern Illinois area?

Buying in Southern California certainly has been tough but it is possible!  

But it's actually very active and is the fastest slipping fault along the San Andreas in Southern California.

I do know of a great property management company in Ohio but I must disclose I am affiliated with the owner @Engelo Rumora   He does property management heavily in Toledo, OH as well as southern Ohio around Dayton and Cincinnati.

how do i find deals here in southern cali?

Although I officially live in Southern California, I'm up in Sac 50% of the time, looking to network with other investors.

We also looked in the Southern Zone but opted for the more developed Gold Coast area.

I just did this successfully in Southern Orchards last year which allowed me to buy another property in Florida!
