It is important to tenants of this level to know they are not dealing with someone that is going to "disappear" when things need done, or use questionable "handymen".You don't want to "negotiate" with prospects BEFORE you process their app and determine they are worthy, but IF you have a warm & fuzzy feeling about a prospect, you can certainly ask "what would it take to get a commitment from you today?"
