As Mike M mentioned, when there's high humidity outside that air is coming under your house, and then contacting cooler surfaces in the crawlspace.

The monthly income will be less, but if you can make the deal work when underwriting it in this fashion, then it is probably a deal worth pursuing.   

For me, even as a former IT guy, I still do it somewhat the old fashion way.

Remember it is $2/sf of painted surface, it is not based on floor space.

Having said that, I could write an entire book on each of them individually.I really just scraped the surface but I believe both of them to be very good solutions, depending on the specific situation, so I do think quite a bit of your decision will result from the facts of your situation.
