I'm looking for someone local to start doing my taxes, preferably someone quite knowledgeable about real estate related tax laws.

We do absentee walk through sometimes and we actually prefer it because you don't have a tenant trying to argue with everything you are making note of.

I'd prefer local to Texas. 

.- find a home that needs repair, preferably off market so you don't compete with retail buyers.- walk the property with a contractor or specialty contractor(s) (electrician, plumber depending on the issues) to get an estimate(s) of the rehab.

I have invested in a real estate mentor which was pretty good, but I prefer to work with someone local vs virtually.

Preferably a fellow investor.

My husband and I would really like to get back into flipping homes as a preference rather than having rentals.

My current/ preferred lender (who is not licensed in the state where I'm looking to purchase) never had a problem getting me qualified for properties that are much more expensive than the vacation home I'm looking to purchase.
