Hi @Jeffrey Wardlow,I haven't ever purchased one but I know that when it comes to a non-profit or not-for-profit buying a property the process is slowed a lot because they need to get approval for every move from their board.

There is a live in caretaker of the building, an older gentleman who lives in the building for free and in exchange the organization that owns the building has him go around and clean up the yard, shovel the snow, and keep the alleys clear and free of trash.

I've never heard of a "Real Estate Institute of Rhode Island" but I can say there are multiple organizations (including many brokerages) which will give you the pre-license classes.

I understand @Tim Spires' concerns about costs to get your site seen, but I think it's possible to do some up front marketing and hire a good SEO manager, and after a few months or a year, you might have enough organic search SEO power that you show up when people search.My concern is in the future and based on no evidence....that said, I wonder whether anyone will be Googling for STRs or VRs in 10 years.
