As an investor I’ve been offered mentoring for cash.

Meet-ups are also a great place to find mentors, people you’d like to emulate that have been where you want to go and done what you want to learn.

Even if the numbers make sense, it's hard to mentally get yourself to do it if you've never done it before2) A mentor.
