What would you do at 17?

I am currently 17 and plan on starting college in August. I currently work at an insulation company and have been getting as much experience with houses as I can. I love learning about real estate and have been listening to the BP Podcast for some time now. I have some questions and would appreciate some advice from anyone willing to share.

1. What was the hardest part about getting into real estate?

2. What book/resource would you say has helped you the most in regards to Real estate (Besides BP).

3. What would you do if you could go back to 17? Would you do anything differently? Get a different Major?

4. Any general advice or suggestions you could give me?

You don’t have to answer them all and any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks! :)

@Nicholas Steidl

Congrats on getting involved at such a young age!

1) Pulling the trigger on the first deal. Even if the numbers make sense, it's hard to mentally get yourself to do it if you've never done it before

2) A mentor. Find an investor-friendly real estate agent to help you, it won't cost you anything out of pocket to work with them!

3) Get a property as soon as you can, assuming the numbers make sense. The earlier you start, the sooner you can scale

4) Once again, getting a mentor is key. It will make all the difference!
