(BTW kudos to rich for planting this seed in my head - this is one of his favorite deductions)I figure it would be wise to acquire maybe some ski resort property and beach property, among other locales.

How then, would one succeed if they start out flat broke (poor) nor have rich relatives or friends?

Vikram --Thank you for the tip about using the right button to open another window; it is saving me a fair amount of aggravation.I come here primarily to socialize and don't have the patience or time to regularly relearn shiney new bells and/or whistles.Newbies wanting to discover the overnight path to riches or hucksters wanting to sell the same probably don't mind.

Seems to me the FED was created by certain rich individuals to have a way to control our country's monetary system.

Church groups, food banks, utility assistance programs, shelters and organizations like Habitat for Humanity are good partners in this arena.

Maybe this sounds harsh on my end, but I only use the guys who depend on me to keep their lights on, keep food on their table, and fund their kids college education funds.Where is your guy's motivation if he has a day job is that is doing all of the above?
