I meant I'm having trouble finding lots TO BUY, in other words I am having trouble contacting all of the property owners and finding people who actually want to sell their properties.

The sellers were happy to agree to that deal because it effectively meant they got the money they wanted for their property and were able to continue living in the house as if nothing had changed and allowed them more time to shop for their next home.

I'll bet you know types like this, or are sadly related to them, like me.In school, my brother was ahead of me, and good at math, and I found that meant that any sort of math achievement on my part would be carefully belittled by him.

Both parties are aware, or should be aware, that real estate markets are fluid and prices fluctuate, creating the possibility the value at the time the option is exercised may be higher or lower.
