When I was house shopping for my rental, I was looking at the downtown area of my hometown where there were a lot of row homes from the 1800s to early 1900s.

If you're thinking about investing in downtown, I feel like you need to have some experience. 

I'm not an expert in this niche as there isn't a lot of rural land in my immediate area (hipster chickens in the back yard of a home in downtown Oakland does not count as "farm activity" or "rural" :P ), so maybe I'm wrong there.

They've got an office Downtown Fort Myers and one in Naples as well.

Great schools, amenities, close to northern Atlanta jobs, the downtown area is exploding with restaurants, bars and shops and is a really cool, somewhat walkable area.

You can do well with that in the right location such as downtown or near the hospital.

Hi Brian,I’m in Ponchatoula, my wife and I competed our first flip last year in downtown Hammond.

But we have been getting more investors putting money towards condos in downtown area as well lately.

Coming from downtown Raleigh so probably will be in around 6 or so...
