Hello - My name is Mark Hicks from Blaine, Washington and this is my newbie introduction post.I've been a residential general contractor for the past 15 years and have purchased and sold a few properties since then, but have never pursued REI seriously.Last week I went to a "Free Seminar" by the Rich Dad company, mostly out of curiosity and an unwillingness to go work out in the rain that day.

Cash flow for me was always something to be managed, not the main goal.Look at all the rich people in NYC that buy flats all cash, just to park their money.

So I just finished reading Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad and he stated something about how business owners pay taxes vs how 9 to 5ers pay taxes.

Have your rich uncle give you the money.Seriously how can you expect us to answer without a hint of your ability to purchase?

I also got my real estate agent license and became a member of the Houston RICH club a few days ago.

This community is rich with experienced, and more importantly, caring people.

Which is why I think "The E-Myth" book is just as important as "Rich Dad Poor Dad" - but at different times in a career.
