I have some equity in my home but I’m just not sure where to start. 

I have been saying this from Day one when the Morby and sub 2 guys started touting and charging for this .. that you are going to have a train wreck follow these transactions .

I am looking to start off house hacking but with so many listings I would like to know if there are some strategies for organizing home information (real estate software, excel set up, hand written, etc).

However I'm just looking for a "vibe" from some pros, experienced investors or people familiar with the area out there who'd be willing to give their 2 cents of the potential value with some caveats/details of the home as follows:- 2022 Home Appraisal valued home @ $1,100,000- 1st 2BR duplex unit rent=$2800, 2nd 2BR duplex unit rent= $2150, 1st 1BR unit rent=$1950, 2nd 1BR unit rent=$1800- All units have washer/dryer- 3 of the 4 units have been upgraded (new floors, appliances, etc.) in the past 5 yrs.- Both boilers installed new 2017- Both electric panels upgraded 2015  - Shared Backyard access for bottom 2 units- No Parking, No Central Air- House built before 1900- Roof about 20Yrs old- Assume Fed cuts rate at least .25 point later this year Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You absolutely can leverage home equity or even a stock portfolio.

I plan to keep all these homes for at least 20-30 years or longer.

It has a 2,100sf home on the property, horse barn, pasture, rodeo ring, and backs up to a small body of water.

I am checking out this house I found in mls , year built was 2017 and it is being sold for a slightly below market value price , something scares me about it though ….i saw “This home currently has an open insurance claim with an open roof permit, and lien for the roof.

Unless you love your home / neighborhood and there’s nothing else available this is your chance to buy a home that fixes what you don’t like about the current home.
