Not sure the permits, but I live in BG, I'd be interested in helping out in the project for free in exchange for knowledge about the industry.

The amount of med tech in the area is booming and only increasing over time (other industries as well)Again, no first hand experience, but I think Durham is in desperate need of more Airbnb listings and the timing would be right to get some credibility on the platform before things take off even more.

This would be a good idea for people that are coming here for medical treatment at Sentara that aren't staying in the hospital and don't want to stay in a hotel, or a DoD contractor that is here for a long-term contract.

While there are good turn-key companies, this industry is fraught with fraudsters.

So I'm on both ends of the spectrum.I'm not a Vegas fan as the prices there have skyrocketed now, but even when the prices were advantageous, I have never liked the fact that the primary industry there is entertainment--which is the first industry to tank in a recession.
