We also AIRBNBed our guest bedroom to traveling nurses / interns for $800-900/month so our 5 bed 2.5 bath was net cheaper than renting our 2 bed 2 bath condo for $1500 just for ourselves.

I’ve experienced great success with an Airbnb rental in Brooklyn I ran for 6 years so my plan is utilizing the STR/vacation appeal of the location for affluent couples or solo travelers looking to be in the middle of south beach.
