(As you leave the main gate going east on California, turn left at the QFC and head north on Broadway a couple of miles to the college district.)I'd be looking for student housing, especially multi-bedroom properties that can be "house hacked" with a master tenant who pays top dollar and sub-rents out bedrooms and keeps order, so that (s)he gets free rent, maybe with a little extra.

I actually know many students that commute up to an hour every day just because of the housing shortage...ok I think you get my point, there's more eager renters than there are rentals.As a public works employee and resident I spend a lot of time driving down every single road in town...over and over.
