I've read a number of articles on the bidding process but I still have some questions as to procedures.

From what I have read many folks have refinanced their primary and successfully started out.  

I'm attempting to read, decipher, and ,ultimately, understand the data.  

We have been on the sidelines for too long, but we have been preparing, reading and driving for dollars over the past couple of months.

I've been reading and I'm hearing that in the state of Texas you an only do lease-options for 180 days.

I'm sure my interests will evolve overtime as I gain more knowledge and resources but at the moment I do not have capital so I'm looking for ways to get started with little/no money.I've recently read information from Kent Clothier on wholesaling and have also recently learned about a concept called "overages".

I trust most active landlords have heard of the April 4, 2016 "Office of General Counsel Guidance on Application of Fair Housing Act Standards to the Use of Criminal Records by Providers of Housing and Real Estate-Related Transactions" For those of you who have read the guidance, what "policies and practices" have you put in place for specific prior criminal behavior?

-i searched on google maps and it has this amazing feature that allows you to see the street in "3D" so with the mouse on my computer i "drove" around the neighborhood i would like to wholesale in, (where i think the best deals FOR THE BUYER) will be, not for my personal gain. with wholesaling, when doing research on properties, its easy to get excited about what you can potentially make, but anyone who has read "think and grow rich" knows that any profit is a reward. my motivation for wholesaling houses in the "hood" is because it is my home.
