I'd say do your research on markets, of course, but focus on the people.

Hi Brandon, I am in the Orlando area and have been focusing on flipping SFR over the past 2 years.

We have 3 home lots of our own to focus on, so it may be good timing to spend time building our network in preparation for when those homes are completed.

-Currently focused on  acquiring property and building equity in homes (next 1-5 years) with larger cashflow as a long-term goal (years 5-10).Thanks again to everyone for creating a great community-Kent

These are all great suggestions, I would add do not overlook the power of referrals and building a network in addition to online marketing.

You can certainly start with no money @Kala Green, but you should focus on learning more and honing your skills.

She didn’t know what wholesaling was and said she didn’t have much knowledge on the business side of things she seemed really focused on trying to recruit me for college and make me sign up for my sats but I don’t fully trust her so here I am.

Or, does it even make sense to focus on greater Minnesota, and instead just look for deals closer to home? 

Eventually we sold off city properties and changed our focus to the suburbs and equity growth at least equally to cash flow.

Online coverage has been broad too, with a heavy East Coast focus but extending as far as the Time’s newspaper in the UK and James Edition in China.
