I'm currently analyzing a property in a C grade neighborhood, where the 1st floor is a tavern and upstairs is 4 apartments.

Walked all of the units and they are in good shapeLocation: Good neighborhood. 

I'd say it's a solid area to invest but there are still pockets of crime in surrounding neighborhoods.

After the rebuild, the house will be over 2,500 SQFT and located in a neighborhood with $600,000+ homes. 

I'm looking at condos in the Buckhead, Midtown, Piedmont Heights, O4W, Atlantic Station, and Decatur areas (among others in the north/eastern part of the city - basically everywhere north of I-20 and east of I-75) and I'd love to hear everyone's input who may be more familiar with the city than I am, what are some (if any) streets/areas in those neighborhoods that are unsafe or I should avoid for other reasons?

It’s not perfect but it seems to actually match up fairly well with the closed rentals my agent has sent - in terms of neighborhood etc.
