I’ve never had to deal with sewer line issues so am grateful for advice.

Lots of issues to consider like title insurance, due on sale, comingling of funds, IRS red flags etc. 

I’ve used Goodman twice so far like Pat above and haven’t had any issues so far. 

We use Docusign just like most other brokers in the US to sign contracts, so no issues legally.

This is the biggest issue with cold calling nowadays.

"Just wanted to get your insight as how we can best handle this" ... with the suggestion that THE TWO OF YOU (you and the treasurer) have an issue and will want to work together to resolve it asap.  

Other than the cost associated with turning a gutted attic into livable space, what other issues may come up?

I appreciate crime has increased in the areas recently, but I'd like to think the city will eventually address the issue. 

One thing to remember with the lower down payments for your personal home is they will have the higher carrying costs as the mortgage will be larger. 

Keeping aside all the management issues during the time they were getting the house ready for rental again - simple things like paint and cleaning took 2 months before they put the house back on the market.
