My friend in Portland who got me interested in wholesaling, also advised I start with a mail campaign, while door knocking.I have knocked on a lot of doors in my life, so I know what to expect. 

You do not need all the business in the world to be successful.The mind is what limits people to what is possible more than anything in life.

You max out your 401k plan at $24,000 which is still a healthy amount to put away.

The market is frothy and young professionals see their parents massively in debt and their ultimate aspiration was to leverage their entire life into a crap box.

Never stop learning and never think you know it all because life has a way of showing us all the pavement from time to time!

If anyone has  been through this and has any tips ideas ect... help would be greatly appreciated looking to start off a life lasting real estate career 

I have done a couple of real estate deals in my life, but it has always been a through family and friends.    

In a previous life I worked for Yahoo in Silicon Valley as an analyst, so I am pretty good at crunching numbers and know Excel very well (pivot tables are my favorite)!

It is a very different thing to sit down in your licensing class and read what the law is, then to see in life how the law is actually applied.
