Dear BP members,I'd like to start small European community here on BP.I spent whole my adult life in investment world building investment firms from scratch and growing them.

As someone said - first thing to do is get her affairs in order if you haven't already and have DPOA's set up for finance and health if 2 people will be involved or just one for all affairs - definitely consult an attorney and get everything in writing - if your family goes and invests her money and you lose it or there are not checks/balances and someone is essentially embezzling money you're asking for trouble and can cause her all sorts of issues.  

Often, that extends the life and saves considerable money over time (may not be a concern for a fix-and-flip). 

Added to the building value and depreciated over the life of the rental, not expensed all at once.

I love renovating homes and bringing neighborhoods back to life.

I'm a bit confused, because we can't benefit from inflation in usual life but it seems like here we get a lot of reward from buildings' prices go up because of rent growth.

Thankfully we got it at a price that affords is these lessons... not that I want to be learning them this way, but hey- that’s life and business.
