Depending on the level of the you can probably get away with wiping them down with denatured alcohol, putting some cardboard down and doing a quick paint job.  

Try the video lessons by Phil Pustejovsky, they are on his website for free, freedommentor.com or something, they are also on youtube.I really learned A LOT from him.I was given the opportunity to work with real estate, but I was kind of not wanting to get into it, then I found his youtube channel and was really inspired with the way he teaches.

And if they are permitted to get away with this, what else are they going to try to get away with?

Many investors are into their 40s, 50s, and 60s, and may not be too familiar with digital and social marketing opportunities, and may be limiting themselves substantially by only marketing their properties through "hard" methods (print newspapers, mailers, calls, etc.)I have a BA in Media Studies/ Communications, training in digital video production and post production, and experience in digital marketing through email, Facebook, and other social media.
