The large 20s - early 30s age group benefits from job vacancies left by the boomers but are also more skidish to purchase homes as they have seen the dangers and don't wanna deal with the hassel of homeownership and tend to change jobs and even careers more than their parents.

The bottom line is that the taxpayers are the ones that just got soaked on the foreclosure so the govt should be trying to get as much money back as possible to make us whole.Not trying to use our money for any social engineering program they think is best.

I always find time for homework (my social life is pretty busy, but my dreams are becoming more important) so I'm not worried about falling behind in school; I've always been able to make good grades and stay out of trouble.

Compounded over just a decade, 6% is a big difference and it looks like that difference is going to get larger.While this is a good way for politicians to pay for Social Security without officially making cuts, the average worker still gets pinched.In the 80's we dealt with inflation relatively well.
