I have never heard of a program like that - I would be doubtful if it is worth it  - Understand a little about owner's motivation to sell. if a building is on the market for sale by FSBO, by agent or public auction - those sellers listing to sell are motivated - they may try to hide there desire to sell and say things like ''I ain't going to give it away!"

I've been looking at multifamily buildings in the county I grew up in here in Central Florida.

Currently have a single family with apartment in basement I’m buying with shared utilities 

Long story short is that my tenant apparently had some friends that stole from a local corner store and were hiding out in my building.

The rent for my current apartment, though, is roughly similar to single family homes in the area.

One will be my primary residence since I'm moving to Tampa in April 2024 after my apartment lease expires, and the other will be my first investment property. 

I own a building with another LLC as Tenants in Common.
