It took me blowing up on the poor front desk lady for someone to finally call me back.

We recommed another lady (finded by Zillow) who applied our apartment and passed the background check with the company.

The neighborhood was a C when I bought, lots of elderly Polish ladies. 

I went to file wage garnishment yesterday at my local courthouse and the lady in that office had no clue what I needed as she hasn't done one in years.No surprise there, the lady in the magistrates office a year or 2 ago told me I had to give notice to my tenants and I told her I didn't as stated in the lease and then I showed her right on the LL/T complaint where it says I didn't have to and she said, Wow in 20 years working there she had never seen that.Anyway...A few weeks ago I called the sheriffs office in regards to the wage garnishment and they said all I need was the judgement.COOL!

To answer your question, millionaires in So Cal (for example) don't mind gambling on continued appreciation in their own backyard (because meantime, they can afford the negative cash flow). 

If you were to try to sell that property tomorrow, you'd basically lose money.If you want to gamble for the appreciation, thats one thing.

I liked how that worked so I bought a couple of lots with a mobile home hook up and pad already in place thinking I would buy another trailer and set it there but I ended up renting it to a lady who parked her own home there.

Owning in FL is a gamble for hurricanes no matter what, so you might as well put a little money each year into insurance in case a hurricane does hit.
