Connect with a housing coordinator if that position is available in your area and stay in contact with that person. 

Anything you do remote will come at a cost of operational inefficiencies and a higher cost of doing business.

I’m pretty busy with my job as it’s a 24/7 industry, I don’t have time to handle aggressively hunting for off market deals however I could still do it with mailers, as I’m in no rush to purchase right away.

The downside will have more to do with your business personality.

When you learn the business after a year or two you can either go out on your own or stay with them. 

It's been 2.5 years since I purchased my first property and now that everything in my personal life has slowed down I'm back on the horse and ready to find my next investment.
