I'd explain your dilemma, ask if it will be a problem complying with a no smoking policy, then maybe compromise if they say they won't stop, like you'll take it month-by-month with them, but if there are any complaints about their smoking or it's causing problems where other units feel they can smoke, too, or preventing people from living there to avoid the smoke, then you'll have to give them notice to leave, no matter how much you'd like to accommodate.  

There was a long driveway which would have accommodated 3 cars, however, they had to have all been tandem.  

And you must allow reasonable accommodations for someone with a disability.So for your situation let's assume the applicant meets all your criteria for income/credit/background ect.

About 18months ago the city sent around a letter to some of us owners letting us know of their plans to expand the downtown area, and they redid some of the street parking to accommodate that it seems.

We get occasional reminders from him about not overloading the circuits by over using power strips - which is surely done in order to accommodate for the pathetic lack of available outlets. 

So rather than being angry or bitter I'm choosing to be accommodating.
