Just like it’s crazy to me there are ZERO regulations on relocation companies (who regular cheat agents out of commissions they absolutely should NOT be entitled to) and crazy to me that getting your RE license has such a low barrier of entry (waaaaay too many terrible agents muddying the waters in my neck of the woods.)

If it's a big increase, you still advise them you will be terminating the current agreement, but will allow them 60 - 90 days to relocate if they choose not to pay the increased rent, pro-rated to last day of occupancy (based on when keys and possession are returned).
