My plan is to find a single family home that I could house hack; ideally it would have an inlaw suite. 

By having access to over 40 lenders (including major banks/institutions), we're able to compare options and choose the ideal lender and interest rate for each client's unique goals. 

We are currently renting and would ideally like to buy a duplex or triplex and live in one of the units, but would like to know our options if we can't get the leases to line up perfectly again.

Maybe other areas have that, but not in TX or FL in price range I deal in.

Not ideal, but they will want to see things in person. 

Ideally I would like it to be in a good/safe area with access to transportation into the city.

If you don't have those means to work with then grab your ideal primary house and start paying that debt down.

So I know the mortgage rate is not entirely ideal for buyers. 

I have yet to find any multifamily units in that area although that is my ideal strategy if I can find them.

Ideally I would like to find something that needed some level of work in order to build a little equity and still be able to cash flow (Obviously be able to afford it).
