The state wants a separation as a step to divorce and if a partner lived away from home how does that requirement work?

Overall, a nice place to live, unless you're in one of the bad areas, but rents seem outrageously high and city council adopted the state's rent control law - limits rent increases to 5% per annum. 

More of a retirement state.

The WY LLC holds the state LLC (the state the STR in located) so yes, the owner can't be easily traced.  

Have you thought about out of state investing?

Out of state can be difficult if you don’t have a reliable team in place.

If this is the case then it depends on what the lease says, is there a clause that states they can house their employees regardless of who they are? 

We're out of state, so reliability and communication are very important.
