Would I have a great ROI in learning a certain skill related to house renovation?

Hi everybody,Currently, I am entering my final semester at CSULB and earning an M.A. in Political Science, while working part-time at a fashion retailer.In joining BP, my hope is to: network, learn the ins and outs of real estate investing, and to develop skills that would make me an asset to any future teams and partnerships.

Being highly experienced in construction I can almost guarantee you’re missing some vital soft cost as well as site preparation cost.  

I think being really good with your writing and language skills could help.

As practice, I created a simple cash flow analysis and I wrote a simple mortgage calculator on Google Sheets, and found that skill useful when I bought my Mexico property.

Also from what you wrote, I'm seeing room for improvement in your English skills as well as your ability to 'frame' a decision - both of which more education I believe will help you.I see this little 'opportunity' as a potential distraction from the education part, at your age. 

I believe these skills and tools will improve my chances of success.I am open to input both here and from members in my local area and appreciate anyone's contribution. 

You want to assess all factors that play a part in choosing your investment strategy: risk, skill of the members (is anyone handy or know a contractor?)

How likely, depends on the skill of the loan officer you're working with and their familiarity with investing strategies, cash flow, the application of the mortgage strategy and what it will mean for the rest of your short and long term goals.
